In New Vestroia, brawling rules differ from those in the previous season.
First off, you will need to execute the command "Power Strike!", instead of "Field Open!" to begin a brawl.
Victory depends souly on the brawler's "Life Gauge". Each Life Gauge starts at
500 and will gradually drop as the player loses power in brawls. The energy dropped depends on the difference in power when a bakugan has been defeated. If the power dropped exceeds 500, the bakugan is captured and returned to the winner where he/she will turn it in to the team he/she has joined forces with.
EX:
PLAYER 1Power Strike!

500▄▄ ▄▄ ▄▄ ▄▄ ▄▄NOTE: The colors on the Life Gauge are just for visual effect. It doesn't matter if you make the entire thing one solid color, or even just leave it as it is, you just need to have 5 of these ▄▄'s spaced out in one line. If you would like to try the color blend, just carefully highlight each bar and color them using the button above a post in progress next to the font size adjustment and font type adjustment.

NOTE: Pyrus Reactor alone would've been enough, but in New Vestroia, it's key to go all-out in order to drain the Life Gauge to capture the opponent's bakugan.

is the victor. And the difference in power would be 350. (850 - 500 = 350), now Player 2 will subtract 350 from his/her Life Gauge's current 500. This should reduce the Life Gauge by more than half.

Repeat the process until the Life Gauge reaches
0. Once it has, in the final battle, if the bakugan lost in the battle was 500 Gs or more weaker than the winning bakugan, it is sent to the winner for him/her to decide what to do with next.
During a one-on-one brawl, once your bakugan has been defeated, and the Life Gauge has not reached
0, you may reuse it.
Lastly, you cannot use the same card twice in the same turn. Not sure why, but it just does not seem to happen in the show, so it will not occur here either.
